We’ve created this list of travel resources from things we actually use every time we travel! From packing essentials to booking apps, it’s a great checklist to reference before heading out on your next trip!
Packing Cubes – Since discovering packing cubes, I do not go anywhere without them. They keep my suitcase so organized and it’s so easy to find everything.
Rockland Luggage – Our favourite way to travel is with carry on luggage. This brand is great because it is durable, comes in so many different colours, and it’s very affordable.
Quick Dry Towels – We love these microfiber towels whether we’re camping or doing a beach trip. They fold up nice and small to fit in your luggage and they do as they say “dry quick”.
Cooling Towels – We bought these a few years ago when we were travelling to Spain in the summer and they were the most amazing things to keep us cool on hot days. We actually got a pack of 4 so we could all have one. We wet it in the morning and it would last for so long.
Expedia – We book almost all of our hotels from Expedia. They usually have the best deals, plus every time you book, you collect dollars that you can use towards your next booking.
Viator – There are 2 places we love to book tours and transfers from, the first being Viator. They have anything from boat tours in Malta to hiking in the Grand Canyon.
Get Your Guide – Our second favourite spot to book tours is Get Your Guide. They also do airport transfers in many cities around the world.
Discover Cars – If you’re looking to rent a car, Discover Cars is great because they find the best deals through major rental brands like Hertz, Alamo, Budget, etc.
VRBO – If you’re looking for a house rental rather than a hotel, we love to book on VRBO. Their search and filter options are excellent and we are always able to find great places to stay.
Airalo – I highly recommend an eSim if you’re travelling out of the country so that you can use your phone. You never know when you’ll need it, whether for a call or maps. Airalo is super reliable and available in so many countries.
Waze or Google Maps – We actually have both of these on our phones because depending on the country one is sometimes better than the other. It’s always a good idea to have the area you’re travelling to downloaded in case you’re in an area with little signal.
